Geraldine3Research interests

My main research interest lies in Social Neuroscience topics. I want to approach this field with the use of neuroimaging and non invasive brain stimulation techniques. The combined use of these techniques and the way research is done in Netherlands attracted me to Cognition Lab in Maastricht University.

Brief Bio

I studied my Bachelor in Psychology and a Masters in Neurobiology in Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. During my Master I studied brain activation (using BOLD-fMRI and PPI –functional connectivity- analyses) while experiencing compassion in men and women. During the last months of my Master I made a research visit in the Affective and Moral Cognition Lab, Institute D’OR, Rio de Janeiro, under the supervision of Dr. Jorge Moll.
